Zoe’s temperature was a little low today and doctors have been scratching heads trying to find the cause of it. Doctors had stopped her feeds for 6 hours today to give her tummy a ‘break’, currently she is on 3ml milk per hour. They have started antibiotics tonight in order to try and stay one step ahead of whatever is lurking. She is a little pale in colour and is due for a blood transfusion tonight. Zoe is still wriggling around and does not appear to be sick yet, so we will have to wait and see what happens in the next 24 – 48 hours, only time will tell.
